Partition Disputes

If you co-own real estate with others, and one of you wants out, I can help.  In Vermont, there's a process by which co-owners may resolve issues like this.  It's called partition.  Partition allows jointly-held real estate to be sold, either to one of the owners or, if that's not in the cards, to a third party.  The process also allows the various interests to be fairly valued in recognition of the contributions owners have made.  I've considerable experience with partition, obtaining settlements when I can and good court results when I can't.  Contact me to learn more about how I can help you work out a partition solution.
