Disputes Over Property Restrictions
The use of real estate may be restricted in two ways. The government may restrict it, such as those found in zoning or building ordinances, which I discuss elsewhere on this website. It also may be restricted by private parties, in deeds, easements, rights-of-way, rights of first refusal, purchase options, and agreements among homeowners and condo owners and the like. If you believe someone is violating a private restriction like that, or you're being told you are, or you just want to understand the extent to which such restrictions may apply to you, I can help. I've extraordinary experience both in enforcing (and helping people understand) appropriate restrictions and in defending those who are facing restrictions that are inappropriate.
